Things That We Should Be Careful of Fackbook

Although facebook is one of the popular destinations on the web, we should be aware of some things that we should never do on facebook in order to protect ourselves. Firstly, we should not leave our full birth date in our profile. There are many identity thieves who try to get more information on the web and to abuse that information to access others’ bank accounts or credit cards. Also, limit access to only your friends who you are more familiar with. Do not let everyone can easily know your personal information, photos, or even status just to prevent from any potential dangerous. Surely, we should not mention when we are away from home. It is like to tell strangers that "no one's home and you are welcome to come over". Lastly, we should not let search engine finds us. Anyone who tries to steal people's information might find information through search engine randomly. Facebook is full of fun; however, we have to be careful of what we are doing on the web just to protect ourselves more.

Good Things about Facebook

Facebook is a good social networking website. It allows us to create and maintain a profile, which can be used to provide anyone more about ourselves. On the profile users can edit things such as profile picture, gender, birth date, relationship status, interests and so on. There are also many groups, pages and networks that can be joined to connect with people that have similar interests. Status updates can be used to tell people what we are doing or thinking at the moment. Facebook also allows us to play games and take quizzes online. Additionally, the best thing about Facebook is the interaction with friends. Adding friends is a good way to connect with family, long lost friends and unknown relatives. Some people find their friends who have already lost touched for ages through facebook. Therefore, we can enjoy amusements and social activities on the network.

A Sales Meeting in BKK

I had attended a meeting in Bangkok from 7th to 9th July. It was a sales meeting held in Bangkok branch. All the people who are relevant to sales department had to join the event. We were from different branches such as Taiwan, Singapore, Bangkok and Singapore. It was an opportunity for us not only to have a meeting in order to improve sales strategy but also to meet our colleagues since we are usually contact on the phones or via email. Each branch managers had to review of the year so far and plan for the target of next year. Sales had to share some success stories of how to make a specific sale in 2010. Although I am just an assistant who do not really need to report anything, I did gain some knowledge from those people. Moreover, we also went to visit two key accounts of Bangkok branch in order to see how others’ factories located in different country and widen our eyes. After the meeting, the Thai colleagues showed us around. We tasted some traditional Thai food and experienced Thai massage. It was a wonderful trip even I just spent two days there. I hope I can go there someday again without any works involved.
