When I am Moody

There are two ways how I usually deal when I am moody. The best way to help me through my emotional upset is to share my feelings with a few good friends of mine. Through talking with them, I have a chance to express my feelings and find a proper way to solve my problem as well. Exchange of ideas helps make a self-criticism; at the same time their advice not only is the best consultation to me but also gives me many new ideas. Talking with my friends when I am unhappy usually calms me down and helps me a lot. The other way is to go to bed, although I am not sleepy at all. I have found myself like to go to bed earlier whenever I feel down. I would think the problem through or just lie on the bed to let my brain goes blank. It makes me feel released and calm.

Health

Health is very important to human being. Although a person has money but health, he or she can not enjoy. Good health can only be obtained through cultivation. So, if we want to be healthy, we should take regular exercise and eat properly. Exercise and nutrition are the two essential factors for good health. We should not take our health seriously and do not take it for grant. Not only should we make efforts to obtain good health but once in good health we should always watch out to stay healthy. It is advised that keeping on exercising, be careful what to eat, rest of nervous tension. Indeed, health is something to be pursued and hung on to. Never take health for granted, and we should always consider our healthy.

A Letter to My Best Friend, Jenny

Dear Jenny:
I am so glad that hearing that you are getting married in August. Thank you for inviting me to the wedding party held in Australia which was what I had been expecting all the time. I would have accepted your invitation, but now I am afraid not able to since I have to do all my wedding preparation during the time. I can not fly to Australia and join your party then. The dates are too close. However, I am really happy for you and hard to express how I feel now.

I still remember when we were just senior high school students, we dreamt about being a lovely relationship which we did not have at the moment. Even recall back the time, I felt we were so young and cute. Now, we finally met someone and ready to get married. It will be a different life and a big step. I know we both can handle that.

Thank you again and, most important, do not forget to show me the wedding photos and share your joy to me in future days. May you have a happy wedding party!

Fortune Telling

There are hundreds of ways to tell fortunes such as astrology, poker and even the fortune teller. Whenever people are wondering their future or lovers are guessing each other or are wondering if they should break up, they go to temples, ask friends, or interpret some sights and happenings in their lives, hoping to settle the uncertainty to know what it is and what will be. To some people, they have to see the future in order to decide which way to choose or what to do. However, I personally have seldom counted the fortune telling. It is not because I do not believe it but I am afraid that I will take the words too serious then it affects my real life. Learning the bad things will happen to me make me nervous and upset. On the other hand, if we know everything in advance, would we be still expecting on something surprising or interesting happened. We should hold slight expectations and hopes which make us happy. In life, the most horrible thing is the loss of hope. Therefore, do not take those predictions too serious. We can take it as a warning but not count on it since we shall then have full control over own lives.

Insomnia

Nowadays, many people suffer from insomnia which is a poor sleeping quality. It might due to different individual reasons. If it goes more serious, it might cause brain damage than affect our normal lives. However, how to sleep well and improve our sleep quality? Here are some of my personal opinions that reduce my poor sleeping quality. Take a shower before sleeping. It clean and wash away my tiredness. Many say that we have to review ourselves everyday. Some people would review during they are sleeping. But I would like to review myself during taking a shower. After it, I would feel fresh after showing. Choose comedy programs than critical or serious programs before going to bed. Many people like to watch TV during the nights. However, sometimes the shows are too serious and too judgmental. It would raise our emotional feelings. So I recommend watching some easy, funny shows instead. We would feel calm and relax before going to bed. Then I will have some hot milk or red wine. Do not drink too much; it will make us sleep better. In summary, some people have difficulty to fall asleep because of different reasons. However, sleeping quality is very important to us because it affects our daily lives. Take a shower to be fresh, watch funny programs, and have some milk or wine before going to bed might help us to fall asleep well.

Stopping an argument

In all relationships, we might have some arguments with our spouse, siblings or even friends. We might argue over silly things, our points and being nonstop. Even we want to end the conflict, we do not know how whenever we are in a bad temper. To stop an argument is not easy thing. There are five tips that we can follow not only to stop the fight but also possible to move our relationships ahead. Firstly, we should not yell. We, normally, would raise our voice when we are arguing in order to defend ourselves. However, when we scream at others, they are very likely to response in the same way. On the other hand, we would feel calm when we listen to a calm voice. Secondly, try to walk away from the scene. We should try to get out of the scene to let both parties to calm down and think things through for a while. Thirdly, we should know what we are arguing about. Sometimes when we are arguing, we totally miss out the point. We might forget the real point but nonsense because we want to win and to stand for ourselves. It is better to sit down and think about what make us argue in the first place. The fourth is to keep the argument simple and easy. Do not get too many people or other things involved. The problem is more resolvable if we do not keep defending our every move. The fifth is to say “I am sorry”. Even we feel that we are innocent for what we have done or have said; it is a good idea to say “I am sorry” first. It will make two parties softer for sure. Briefly, arguing is not a bad thing since we can understand more of each other. However, we should stop the argument to avoid things out of control. Wedding Photos Shot

During the wedding preparation, a very important part is to take the wedding photos. There are many wedding studios and we have to choose one. Wedding studio provides the wedding gowns and many things that a wedding needs.

Before taking photos, there are some things to do. I have to choose which dresses I want. Many can be tried on and I need to see if they really suit me. Then the assistant will alter the dresses to fit me perfectly. Just right before the photo shooting day, I was very nervous because I am not a good model who can pose. I am not good in front of cameras. So I really worry how I will look like. However, the photographer is really professional. They teach you how to pose, how to smile, and how to react with each other.

After a week, I see all the photos. The photos are really nice. It is different how we take pictures normally. Now I have already chosen the pictures I want. I am only waiting for them to edit some parts. Then I can have them back.

Dongwanshou Road

Dongwanshou Road, one of the roads where connects Taoyuan county and LungHwa University, is the way that the students of Lung Hwa usually take to the school from Taoyuan area. According to the transportation and communication of Taoyuan, it is one of the top ten dangerous roads. The reasons that make it dangerous are a side of it is a mountain and it is sloping road. Some people drive or ride very fast. Moreover, many dump trucks pass though the road with dusts and sands which make it easily lost control to drive and ride. Furthermore, there are some phantoms stories relate to the road which leads to the road much more serious. As many our students ride the motorcycles from Dongwanshou Road, we hope all students and passengers would be more careful while they are passing the road.

My Unique Classmate

Every time as a new semester starts, there is always someone who decide to quit the course. This time, our dearest classmate, Jack Lai, suddenly drop the course with shocking everyone. He was very unique. I still remembered the day when I saw him first time. It was the orientation. He sat just right few seats next to me. He was having long hairs and very thin. However, after one and half year, he was one of the students who study really hard. He always kept the notes and share to us. He always cares of all the classmates and wishes we can pass every subject. What he has done was really sweet and touching. Even I did not talk to him a lot, but I really appreciate how he treats us and admire his personality. Now, he has already decided to drop the course. But I think that is just a temporary decision. Someday he will be back and finish the university degree. He will rock his new classmates again. I know that he will success and be all the best through his path. I hope he can still keep in touch with us because we are the best class ever.

My Best Friend

Jenny Yang is one of my best friends who I have known for ages. We were the classmates in the senior high school. We were randomly arranged to sit next to each other when we got in the school. That was why we became close to each other. She lived in TianMui area and seemed like having a wonderful life and family. But, she never showed off. She has a tough personality. She never let others take her down and protect me all the time.

After graduating from the school, she went to Australia for studying. I used to go there and took the English course with her. She took good care of me since I had never left home so far and so long. I came back to Taiwan when I finished the short course. She kept studying her university for a while. After a few years, she graduated and stayed there for applying PR. Then she met a Malaysian in love. Now, she is ready to get married this year.

Looking back these years, I have been seeing how she grown and got matured. I used to saw her in love or even tearing. I know she is a girl who never gives up. I am so proud of her and glad that she finally met her Mr. Right. I know she will be happily ever after because she deserves it.

World News - Skinny Model Banned

It is been ages that people consider thin represents pretty of a woman, especially in fashion industry. The models who appear on runway are skinny. Therefore, people think that they can be beautiful as them if they are thin enough. However, this issue has become serious health problem as there are a few models died because of anorexia.

The young girls try to reduce their weight by not having food in order to get more jobs from fashion industry. However, complaints come from everywhere that telling health official it is a problem has to be concerned. Spain is the first nation that bans too skinny models appear on runway. It is a warning that has brought everyone’s attention. Moreover, some models have even filmed themselves as a wrong example since they have lost their health from the eating disorder.

To be thin is a good thing. It is pretty and health. However, we should control our weight in a healthy way. For example, we can exercise or eat more vegetable or not to eat junk foods. If trying to be pretty by not eating food, we would damage our body and never be healthy.

Local News – Reopened Debate

Few weeks ago, there was an issue reopened because of wrongful execution 15 years ago. It was a case that a five years old girl who was raped and murdered in air-force private. This case has been investigated and been found that the suspect of Chian Kuo-ching was wrongly judged and seen as a crime.

It was horrible news threaten the society. Even worst that it has been discovered that a young man executed without conducting the crime but a truly suspect has still not been caught for a long time. This case reminds the public that there is a risk of death penalty as if a person is wrongly executed; the mistake has never been corrected.

Somehow, even the death penalty has been argued for a long time and the case of Chian Kuo-ching has been raised again. I still do not agree to cancel death penalty. I think the government should focus on a fair justice instead of just get the crime case done.

Movie Review: The Social Network

Facebook is a social network that almost everyone is accessing. It has been expanded worldwide now. Many people obsess with it because it connects people closely. There are actives happened such as games, advertisements, or friends’ current status and so on which make us know more and bring everyone closer.

The movie, The Social Network, is talking about how the founder creates the network and found facebook. I was not interested in this movie while it was showing on the cinema. However, after I saw the movie, I really liked it. Mark Zuckerberg who was a university student dumped by his girl friend. Then he started to write the blog and create a little game to insult her. He found the network drew other students’ attention. Then he came out an idea to form a social network. His best friend supported him financially. However, in the end, he sued him for taking away his stock proportion.

Mark Zuckerberg’s ability and genius were so impressing. How he founded the network which has been gathered the world close is definitely a good job done. Yet, he won himself reputation and wealth but his best friends. That was a part that I felt pity for him.

My 2011 Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is a very important festival to the Chinese around the world. It means a fresh start in the year and hope for the best ahead. Everyone is ready for a long break and meeting the relatives who are busy to catch up during the whole year. Children like to purchase new clothes, shoes and getting red packs while adults like to play cards or Mahjong. In the Chinese New Year Eve, there will be fish, long life vegetables and meats in the dining table for wishing a great year.

Normally, I spend my time with my own family during Chinese New Year. We have dinner and watch TV together afterward. However, I not only stay with my own family but also visit my boy friend’s family this year. It is really special for me since I am getting married this year. It means a lot to me. In the Eve, I went to visit them after dinner. We played cards together and went to a temple for blessing next day. His relatives were there too. Everyone had a good time.

We had only six days off in Chinese New Year. So it seems we just had break then we needed to go to work next day. However, I believe that it will be a great year for all of us.
